SPREAD INDIA held their first Volleyball Tournament on Saturday, Aug 4th 2007 form 3:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Founders Sports Park, Near Farmington Ice Arena, 35500 West 8 Mile Road, Farmington Hills, MI 48335.

On the behalf of Spread India, we would like to convey our sincere thanks to everyone who participated in Volley Ball Tournament. This was the first time we conducted this tournament and got overwhelming response. Total 11 teams participated from different cities, Lansing, Ann Arbor, Troy, Bloomfield Hills, Southfield and Farmington Hills. We would like to specially thank DTA Youth team and all the women participants who gave us wonderful message of their commitment.
We would like to mention that event was grand success. Your team’s participation and enthusiasm made us more determined and motivated towards our goals. We raised all together $1105 including registration fees, food and through donation. Congratulations to team - Farmington Farmers for winning the 2007 Independence Cup.
It is no great revelation that education acquired in the earlier age remains the biggest potential strength in any one’s career. And this donation goes a long way to those, deprived and underprivileged children for their education in remote villages in India. We expect, you will continue to participate every year and make us help the lessfortunate ones.
At last we conclude, Child is like lamp to be lighted. And more we light the brighter world will become. Every dollar raised will create many more opportunities to the needy and our commitment will bring younger minds to grow and explore new horizons.

Many poor rank kids could able pay their college expenses with scholarship awards, otherwise thery would have dropped the college.
